Sense Garden

In August 2023, the Noel Sweeney Foundation partnered with UK charity, Sense, to create a new, accessible sensory garden in Birmingham. Senior leaders from the Tara Group including Sir John Crabtree OBE (Chair of Tara Group), Ian Burns (Managing Director at Cameron Homes), Euan Grant (Managing Director at Chasetown Civil Engineering) and Warren Bolton (Director at Keon Homes) joined a construction taskforce on site to plant flowers and trees and transform the charity's outdoor space in Selly Oak into an accessible and relaxing community area.

It was an honour to join the team at the planting morning at Sense and get hands on with supporting the construction of the new sensory garden. With other members of the Tara Group team, we helped prepare the garden for when it is handed back to the charity later this month.

It is great that the Tara Group is involved in something so worthwhile that will create a legacy in Noel’s memory and serve the Sense community.
