Fun Club Hub

The Fun Club Hub is a Queen's Award-winning youth and community organisation that creates and delivers youth work opportunities and activities designed by young people themselves.

Based in our local community of Burntwood, they offer positive, affordable alternatives to traditional club and school-based programs, focussing on informal activities that support the transition to secondary school.  These activities address a range of issues tailored to the group's specific needs, including:

  • Building self-esteem and confidence
  • Developing new skills through hands-on learning
  • Expanding horizons and fostering a sense of responsibility to both themselves and their community.

Through the support of the Noel Sweeney Foundation, several invaluable workshops have been funded, along with an Afterschool Club that currently serves 288 pupils at the local secondary school.

The Tara Group have also facilitated a number of Careers Events where several of our colleagues shared their experiences from the construction industry, aiming to inspire and motivate the next generation of young people.

Wow what a turn out for our once a month Youth Club at St Annes Church in Burntwood tonight funded by The Noel Sweeney Foundation.  Thank you for the Venue space where we can offer such a variety of activities for young people to take part in.  We have a team of dedicated Youth Workers who are there to offer support, advice and guidance and of course get involved with the lastest #tiktok .
With over 40 young people in the door there wasn't time for pictures!!!
