Grub & Gab Club

The Grub and Gab Club is a registered charity that supports people experiencing food poverty, homelessness, loneliness and social exclusion in Coventry. Each week it operates a free “Saturday Kitchen,” providing hot cooked breakfasts and food parcels to anyone in need, and runs community activities such as healthy cooking lessons and day-trips for families. It also organises Coventry Open Christmas, a 24-hour seasonal shelter offering meals, company, warmth and overnight care to vulnerable and homeless people over the Christmas period.

The Foundation has funded their ‘Saturday Kitchen’ initiative. Where each week, they provide freshly cooked breakfasts to local people in need, along with a complimentary bag of groceries to help prevent food poverty during the week.

We want to say a MASSIVE Thank you to the 'Noel Sweeney Foundation' who have given us a donation which will allow us to provide hot breakfast each week.
Here is a look at what we do each week at St Barnabus Church every Saturday morning from 8.30am-10am!
