The Coracle World Championships is an annual charity event to support fundraising for MacMillan Cancer Support in Shropshire.
We support this event through our employees and match the funding they generate through sponsorship of family and friends. To date our teams have raised over £29,900 with countless competitors paddling, capsizing and drifting to generate as many funds as possible.
Our fundraising helps in many ways
- 58 hours of funding for the MacMillian Cancer Information Specialists to run The Macmillan Support Line phone service for one hour, providing a wide range of clinical, emotional and financial information when people need it the most.
- 934 hours for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping patients and their families receive essential support.
- 85 MacMillian Grants- which helps a person living with cancer heat their home when they really need to.
